Moevenpick Hotel Wellington

Stayed in room 901, there was a constant droning noise (far louder than you would expect in a hotel). Otherwise the hotel was ok. Looks like it needs an update in the bathrooms.

the superior king room i got was complete with large tv, great views, as for instance. location: the hotel was near to town centre and surrounds, restaurant, and cafes and shops. i tried some drinks at bar garage project, located 5 minutes walk away. the pool was great and i had complimentary drinks in the downstairs bar. besides, i was able to park on-site.

It had not bad views.

Comfortable stay with a nice pool. Could improve room size and dinner service.

I wanted a budget but confortable and quiet option and I was pleased with the staff, with the service (ordering taxis and in room service), the cleanliness and decor of the room.

I had fish for dinner and I found it not such good value

Your parking is very expensive. $18.00 for over night parking is excessive. Perhaps look at offering free parking for a Club members?

Here's why it's a mixed review

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious and had a fantastic view of the city from the top floor.

Despite the high prices paid, cleanliness fell short, with uncleaned towels left in the bathroom and used items forgotten. The noise from neighboring rooms was quite disturbing, compromising sleep quality.

Price was ok for the closeness to the city

You only got 30minutes free Internet per day and it was a very slow speed

Good value for money. Competent friendly staff. Comfortable and more than adequate for my purpose of stay.

While the room had obviously been restyled it was a bit battered in some areas. Bathroom and kitchen facilities. Parts of it still looked a bit tired and could have done with refurbishing.

the restraunt , kids are able to have a free breakfast.

This place was a solid selection for a fleeting trip in Wellington with reasonable value. The steak meal at dinner was fantastic-perfectly cooked and satisfying. Check if the gym has enough hand wipes for cleaning equipment.

The quality of the plastic toilet and shower curtain. No hot/cold water mixer in the bath/shower.

Great having a pool, and could walk into the city - shame it was at the top of a hill but we taxied back!

It was not set up well for us when we arrived. I said there were 3 of us. There was only 1 towel, 2 mugs, and at the swimming pool no towels!

I like the carpark that was available,the fast room service and the food and options of food and it was comfortable,woul do preferred a bigger bathroom.

Didn't like the fact we spent like just about over $300 to stay in a hotel with a tiny bathroom and no tv really we asked for sky,didnt realise we had to pay for every movie we wanted to watch and the fact that I asked for a tooth brush and paste but none was available. other than that I enjoyed myself. We asked for a spa bath we didnt get one.
